There once was a little town known as Lahaina. And if you blinked, you could miss it.
In fact, we completely did miss it!
While we were staying around that area of the island of Maui, we drove past it the infamous Front Street several times.
But it’s off a bit from the main road. Barely.
So we finally decided to fully seek out the little town.
The vibrant colors and beautiful waterfront keep you in great spirits all day.
I’m not entirely sure it’s possible to have a bad day on the island Maui.
We spent some time walking along the beautiful Front Street.
And the day was a scorcher, so naturally we needed to refuel with ice cream.
We stopped into Ono Gelato.
Ugh, I hate when there aren’t any choices.
All the flavors, in all their glorious goodness.
Of course, we sampled a few before picking out our flavors.
If you journey through the little shop, you’re led outside to a tiny seating area. But it’s got some great views.
So we indulged in our big scoops of gelato. I ordered the coconut and a creation of the day, kind of a mash up tasting like a Nestle crunch cone. It was amazing.
J ordered the coconut and cookies and cream.
We could hardly believe that it took us so long to get ourselves to this place.
Doesn’t it look fantastic?
Well, it does to me! (Maybe a little bit melted though…)

Ono Gelato!!! Our favorite on island… so sad to see that the two best flavors they make were not available for you…Sandy Beach and Lilikoi Quark…unless you had it down in the Kihei or Paia store??? Only 22 more days until I will be eating Ono Gelato-yay!
Next time we’ll have to try those! They sound great! xox
This looks like such a beautiful and peaceful location. The views are stunning. That icecream looks so tasty mmm x
Best views ever to enjoy a cold bowl of gelato! xox
