I’ve found a new dessert spot.
On a very rainy Sunday in London, we ventured to a quaint little bakery called Maison Blanc.
Brimming with delicious desserts, I was ready to spend my Sunday getting my sugar fix.
Ah the tart aux fraises, this glorious little pastry is surprisingly filled with pistachio almond cream and may be one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. The strawberries were so fresh, I was expecting them to be sugar coated, but they relied upon the natural sugar. This is one hell of a dessert.
The Choco Berry Cupcake. A chocolate sponge cake topped with blackcurrant frosting. So delicious.
Giant Blackberry Macaron goodness. Vanilla cream and fresh blackberries. Yum.
Nothing gets me quite like a giant macaron.
Also, the smoothies and frappes are a must. Seriously. Try the coffee one. It was incredible.
Maison Blanc is a fantastic little hideaway, best for taking solace from the rain while keeping your sweet tooth happy.
They’re scattered all across London and around the country so take a look to find one near you.
I’d suggest popping in to check out eat all of their summer menu range.
